In this episode, my topic is the 6-week Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial. Although some listeners may not find this interesting or important, everything about this trial is critical.
Domestic violence stops all the victims from being a vibrant part of society. Having a career, building a friendship, and loving family members. All of it is simply too hard.
True, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are two celebrities, but that doesn’t make their story not worth hearing. You never know when you will be desperate for a place to turn or if someone will need your help.
I summarize the trial and have a few audio clips that are heartbreaking. I don’t hesitate to say that the whole 6-week trial was hard to watch.
Domestic and sexual violence create psychological and physical damage that will live with victims, sometimes forever.
And if you see something, say something because we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence.
